ANRE has adjusted the electricity tariffs and prices





The Administration Council of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has examined and approved several decisions during the public meeting on August 16 2019.

The basic costs for thermal energy supply service for the year 2018 were established by S.A. "Comgaz-Plus". The proposed costs were set at 3 056,4 thousand MDL, 858 thousand MDL or 21,9% MDL lower than the amount requested by the license holder.

The basic costs for the natural gas distribution activities provided by the transmission system operators (TSOs) and natural gas supply activities provided by S.A. "Moldovagaz" have been approved.

Another subject on the agenda was the tariffs for the public water supply, sewage and wastewater treatment service provided by the Î.M. „Servicii Comunale Glodeni” and Î.M. „Apă-Canal din Basarabeasca,” respectively. For these two enterprises, the tariffs for the domestic consumers only were increased, while the tariffs for the non-domestic consumers remained unchanged for both, public service of water supply and public service of sewage and wastewater treatment.

Also, during the meeting the prices for electricity supplied by the Î.C.S. ,,Gas Natural Fenosa Furnizare Energie” S.R.L. and S.A. ,,Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord” were approved. Thus, the end consumers located in the in the center and south of the country will pay 189 bani / kWh, while the end consumers in the north will pay 223 bani / kWh. The adjusted prices have largely returned to 2017 price levels.

And lastly, ANRE has approved the regulated price for the electricity supplied by the central electricity supplier. Based on the information provided by S.A. "Energocom" and following the analysis of the forecasted volumes of electricity produced by the eligible power stations, which produce electricity from renewable energy sources, as well as the electricity produced by the urban heating plants, the regulated supply price requested by the company was accepted at the level of 158 bani / kWh.
