On August 25 2021, on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the founding of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) and the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Moldova's declaration of independence, the Administration Council of ANRE has awarded the 1st degree Cross Medal for Merit to Mr. Janez Kopač, Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Mr. Dirk Buschle, Deputy Director/Legal Counsel of the Energy Community Secretariat and Mr. Alexandru Săndulescu, EU High Level Adviser on Energy Policy – as an appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the European institutions and ANRE.
The 1st degree Cross Medal for Merit is the highest distinction awarded by ANRE.
During the online meeting with the Energy Community Secretariat, the directors of ANRE have emphasized the important role of the EU partners in the process of implementing the international commitments of the Republic of Moldova in the energy sector.
The European officials have thanked ANRE for the awarded distinction and expressed their appreciations for the fruitful collaboration with ANRE.
