The new rules are in line with the European model and provide the necessary mechanisms to diversify the products and trading time, thus developing a competitive and transparent market. The EU4Energy experts contributed also to the process of drafting the key normative acts including: Electricity and Natural Gas Market Rules, Electricity Network Code, Gas Network Code, Methodology on calculation, approval and application of the regulated tariff for the electricity market operation service. These normative acts facilitate the integration into regional markets,” added Eugen Carpov.
Moreover, the EU4Energy programs provided a platform for discussions between all member countries. These High-level discussions have facilitated the dialogue between the Republic of Moldova and other Eastern Partnership Member States, in particular Ukraine. The dialogue has helped overcome many problems and coordinate actions to achieve the necessary objectives.
